BAKKA will be at Scotland's Trade Fair for the first time since January 2020. Held in Glasgow's SEC, the Fair takes place on 22-24 January. It's a great networking event, and this year, with a difficult economic background, I will be emphasising the smaller items in BAKKA's collections.

You can find me in the Craft Gallery, stand 56. Please do stop and talk, even if the engagement would be for the future when the economy is healthier again. I'd love to meet you!

The season has come to an end and the mobile shop will be closed until next Spring. A huge THANK YOU to all who visited.

The Craft Fair season on the mainland starts with the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, Manchester, next weekend, 13-16 October. And I will post soon where I will be going in November.

The BAKKA van, my mobile shop in Lerwick, is receiving many compliments, as much for the concept - go where the people are, don't wait for them to come to you - as for the quality of the fitting out. It's so encouraging! and I thank everyone wholeheartedly for their support.

The van is open in Lerwick several days a week, so if you see the flags out, please do stop and say hello, I'd love to meet you.
